Who it's not for:

Most tap water in the UK is already alkaline (pH 7.5+), so most growers need pH Down, not pH Up. Only use pH Up if your solution is measuring below target after nutrient addition. Add small amounts at a time, stir, re-test before adding more. For strict-synthetic hydroponic setups, a standard potassium hydroxide pH Up is cheaper.
