Who it's not for:

Never plug HID ballasts or high-wattage lights directly into extension leads — the inductive surge can fry consumer-grade leads. Use proper contactors (Maxiswitch Powerhouse, Smart Grow Relay) for HID lighting. Check total load against the 13A rating; don't overload. Daisy-chaining extension leads is a fire hazard — don't plug one extension into another. For permanent grow-room installations, hardwired distribution boxes are safer than extension leads.
