Multi-layer construction: micro-perforated inner ducting dampens noise, acoustically-transparent inter-liner acts as a vapour barrier, 25mm fibrewool insulation provides thermal and acoustic absorption, all wrapped in a multi-layer aluminium outer jacket. For premium acoustic performance, Phonic Trap is the absolute reference (higher cost). For budget setups, standard combi ducting is significantly cheaper. Acoustic ducting is bulkier than standard flex; check ceiling space before ordering. Match diameter to your fan and filter sizes — 6" Sonoduct fits 6" fans only. For larger 8" or 10" extraction, look at the 200mm or 250mm Sonoduct variants.
