Who it's not for:

Requires power — pump failure means propagator failure; not a set-and-forget approach. Temperature control matters — the mist can cool the root zone below optimal if your grow space is cold; consider a Root!t heat mat. For very small propagation (1-5 cuttings), a basic propagator with Jiffy plugs is simpler and adequate.
