Plants photoperiodically detect the light-dark cycle via red and blue wavelengths — they're essentially blind to green light. This LUMii head torch uses 6 high-intensity green LEDs so you can safely access your grow area during the dark period without interrupting the photoperiod or confusing flowering plants. Who it's not for:

For normal lights-on work, any torch or room light works fine — the green LED is specifically for dark-cycle tasks. Not suitable for high-precision colour-matching tasks — green light distorts perceived plant colour (yellowing and nutrient-deficiency symptoms look different under green). Swap batteries before going into the grow room; changing batteries in darkness with plants is awkward.
