Timer-dripper automation still requires attention — check the system weekly, clean drippers, monitor reservoir level. For fully passive self-watering, AutoPot AQUAvalve systems are more hands-off. For DWC (different growing style entirely), use dedicated DWC kits. Check reservoir size matches your plant demand — undersized reservoirs need frequent refills.
