Who it's not for:

For coco-based final growing, Plug Life Coco trays match the final medium better than rockwool. For soil propagation, Jiffy plugs or Plug Life Peat are simpler. Soak rockwool in pH-adjusted water (pH 5.5-5.8) for several hours before use — straight from the bag, rockwool is alkaline and will lock out nutrients. Wear a dust mask when handling dry rockwool — fine fibres can irritate airways.
