A specialised blue-spectrum T5 fluorescent tube — the phosphors inside glow blue when powered, delivering the wavelength seedlings and cuttings need for compact, stocky growth. Fits standard T5 propagation fixtures (Maxibright PL range, similar propagation lights). Overall length 563mm including pins, 549mm excluding pins.

Who it's not for:

For flowering, you need full-spectrum HPS, CMH, or flower-spectrum LED — blue spectrum alone doesn't flower plants. Replace tubes every ~10,000 hours of use; dim tubes reduce propagation performance. For modern propagation setups, dedicated LED propagation fixtures offer comparable spectrum with lower running cost. Check fixture compatibility — some T5 fixtures are 2' or 4' format rather than the standard 2' this tube replaces.
