Tanlin Drops is a highly effective solution for any gardener growing any plant in any system — extremely concentrated at 1ml per 100 litres, so a 20ml bottle makes 2000 litres. Safe to use with any nutrient regimen and won't affect beneficial micro-organisms. Non-toxic and completely inert; doesn't interact with the plant in any way. Particularly effective against fungus gnats and their larvae in soil and substrate root zones.

Who it's not for:

For above-soil pests (spider mites, thrips, aphids on leaves), use foliar pesticides (CannaCure, SMC, Pyrethrum) instead. Specifically targets root-zone larvae. An additive for prevention/treatment, not a base nutrient. Add to nutrient solution at standard dilution; over-application is wasteful but not harmful. Best used preventatively at first sign of fungus gnat adults rather than waiting for severe infestations.
